A group of health experts from New York have conducted a study and concluded that healthy living over a considerable period of time should not restrict fat consumption.The team of experienced and proficient researchers headed by Dr. Nita Forouhi of the Institute of Metabolic Science in UK has finally brought about some good news for us all!
According to the research results, the total percentage of calories you receive from fat in comparison to protein or carbohydrates is just negligible in context of the weight a person is liable to gain in the coming years.
Out of the total calories a person consumes, the standard fat intake can possibly range from 31.5 % to 36.5 %. An average person with normal health and standard diet puts on a quarter of a pound annually. Read the rest of this entry »

As recent studies and survey results have indicated; having a few extra cups of coffee each day can actually reduce the risk of advanced prostate cancers by almost 60%.
At a recent American Association of Cancer Research meeting in Houston, it was stated that although the case of high coffee intake and its activity on prostrate cancer are still yet to be proven.
